Sigh...

So, she's at it again. Why? I don't know, I guess Lauren Conrad (MTV's Laguna Beach & The Hills) didn't learn the first time around. From what I saw in the Lookbook everything pretty much looks like her first line. Simple, which is nice, but a lot looks like stuff that already is being done. Alot of the clothes I think I could easilt find similaar if not exact same piece in stores such as American Appearel or Urban Outfitters. Paper Crown is a cute name, and I'm guessing the concept behind it is cute as well but... meh we've seen this already seen this stuff before LC.

Show Me A Good Time

Show Me How is this really amazingly great book I came across while I was shopping today in Urban Outfitters. It has over 500 simple instructions on things that you should know how to do, from Yoga positions, to how to make homemade doughnuts, to how to survive if stranded on a desert. It was really interesting, and is something that I'm really looking forward to purchasing! check it out

A reminder

I'm not going to post shit just because everyone else is posting the newest thing or wants to be the first to post what's happening next in the world, I post what I want to, what I find is important to me. Remember, this is GOT THE SHOT. So even if you do see something here last, it was seen/GOT best here first.

Comprender mi amigo?

Spot the similarity?... I do.

I love RiRi, but I'm just showing you what i saw from the beginning.

A century of fragrances

These are the top 9 famous perfumes over a century, I think there are a few more that could be included but these are the famous 9. It is no surprise that my favourite perfume in the entire world was most popular in the 50's.. no surprise at all.
1910's 1920's

1930's 1940's (looks like it smells gross)

1950's-1960's (rose, sage, and gardenia)

1970's

1980's

1990's

Beyoncé - Freakum Dress

FACTORY GIRL - O.P.I

Definitely a girls dream, the girl working for Nylon kinda seems like a crackhead though, but besides her, fun stuff.

Could-have-been love story

Imagine how often this might have happened to you.

Gee, holy cuteness

On Twig and Thistle they show us how to jazz up homemade brownies by putting them in cute craft paper bags. They even provide a PDF that you can download to print your own bags complete with detailed instructions. They also have little cute stickers that you can add to some produce.

Gangs of New York

I've been trying to make up names for each gang, see if you can. These are the gangs of NY for Vogue's Feb issue.

c'est cool eh?

iPad competitors

These two are my favourite of the iPad compatibility/competition, the first one is the Dell Inspiron Duo, and the other is the Blackberry Playbook. I like that they both have cameras which is something that the iPad doesn't have, and the Duo is more like a two in one combo, and the flip screen seems like it would make it easier to share ideas or an easier way to do a presentation. For someone who is trying to pitch their idea to the big shots, it could be a way to come across as more professionally prepared.

To read about these two and find out about other similar tablets click on either of the links.

Pleasantville, Stepford Wives.. and now Celebration

The launch of Celebration, Florida in 1996 was created in an attempt to be the happiest place on Earth by Walt Disney’s imagineers. What started out on the ideas of what a community of perfection would be soon turned left when expectations weren't met in the fabricated town. The time elapsed in a week in December brought about the town’s first murder and suicide. Residents have said that the pressure put on them by what is expected of them, has been the reason or may be the reason for the out-of-character behaviour.

This place and the whole idea that goes with it is so effed up. If you read the article, you'll read a part that mentions the rumour of how Disney once hired actors to walk their dogs perfectly by the lake......huh???? I didn't even know there was a perfect way to walk a dog! All that's known to me is you pick their shit up after they've done their business.

It's quite a long article but you can definitely get the gist from the first bit.

In my skin

My name is...

The ring was given to a woman who has been my mother for 20 years, by a man that has yet to be my father. The braided bracelet was a gift from my 12-year-old sister because she knew she would miss me.
I love making faces, because I am, at times, silly.
This is when I'm most comfortable, most secure, and most sure.

My name is Tyease.

just thinkin' out loud

i find it so odd that we can still feel alone at times when there is so much offered to us socially on the internet today.

for one, i still come here just to say and post things that i wouldn't feel comfortable saying or posting on FB, for what reason? i have no idea.

i don't know what i'm trying to say i can't really find the words... it's like an unfinished thought or sentence or simply a misunderstanding...
